Microsoft Excel Can't Calculate Correctly ?

Yesterday, a colleague of mine called and told me that her computer is giving her problem. Her Excel Spreadsheet can't calculate correctly.

I told her to email me the file so that I can take a look at it before checking her PC.

Rule not highlighted by your lecturer when you attended the Microsoft Office Course.
I have created some simple example here and if you have time, u can tried it out.

As you can see from both table (Column C), most users like to use the formula =A?/B? or =A?xB? to get the result in Column C. But when they do a sum up on the result using the sum function, the total might not be what they are expecting due to rounding.

So always remember to apply the rule that is to use the Round function if there is a Multiplication or Division calculations involve when using spreadsheet.

Now, see what will happen if the rule has been applied.

Enjoy !
